The Albanese Labor Government recently announced the Peri-Urban Mobile Program Round 2, which provides $20 million for solutions to improve mobile connectivity in areas that experience heightened natural disaster risks due to neighbouring bushland.  Unfortunately, Bonnet Bay has been excluded from this program.

From standstill traffic during peak hours, horrific crashes and the tragic loss of life, the proceedings to duplicate Heathcote Road in full, that I went to the election with, must be addressed by the Albanese Labor Government who under Transport Minister Catherine King have completely ignored any future funding for development.

As the Federal Member for Hughes, I am delighted to be participating in the Stronger Communities Programme Round 8 (Programme). This Programme provides support to deliver social benefits in our community by funding small capital projects in our electorate.

I spoke on Capital Hill about the Government’s censure motion, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the proposed Voice legislation with host Jane Norman and Labor MP Meryl Swanson.

It was an Honour to present Terry and members of his family that served Australia during war with Certificates of Appreciation. During COVID, Terry’s brother Tony, was doing research on his family tree, which lead him to find more history on his family and their overseas service.

Pathology is the engine room of healthcare, central to medical detection, prevention, treatment, and management. We all know alot more about pathology services following the recent pandemic.

18 October 2022 marked 15 Years of operation for ANSTO’s Open Pool Australian Lightwater reactor (OPAL).  

ANSTO is leading the way in nuclear technology research, especially in the health industry. It is also the home to the only multi-purpose reactor in Australia, right here in Hughes.
