Hughes Awards

The Hughes Awards recognise those who inspire others and enrich our community through their contributions. The awards seek to publicly thank and celebrate volunteers, apprentices, seniors, women, men, youth, environmental citizens, and people in small business.

If you know of an individual within your organisation or the local community, whose commitment to their work deserves special recognition, please fill out a Hughes Awards Nomination Form and return it to my office. I respectfully request that you please keep your nominations to a maximum of 2 individuals per organisation.

Your nominator information will not be disclosed to award recipients, therefore the information you share will remain confidential.

Nominations are now open and will close COB on 31 August 2023.

In September, I will host a ceremony to present all recipients with their awards. You and the nominee will be notified of ceremony details closer to the date.
