Sutherland Shire Business Breakfast

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to be a Keynote speaker at the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber’s September Business Breakfast on Positive Developments in the Sutherland Shire.

The Business Breakfast was a forum in which to share growth strategies and ideas to make the Shire thrive. These ideas included the support of upskilling, the creation of new jobs, the local economy, and most of all, how businesses could benefit.

I spoke about the need for the Federal Government to honour the previous government’s tax cuts for low- and middle-income earners, which would allow small businesses to thrive. I am committed to liberalism, the rights of the individual, support for individual enterprise and governments facilitating an environment where individual, families and businesses can thrive.  Small business is the backbone of our community and our country.

I would also like to commend, Cr Carmelo Pesce, Mayor of Sutherland Shire Council and Jeanne Zweck, Sutherland Shire Business Chamber President, for their support of the chamber and local small businesses.

Congratulations to the Sutherland Shire Business Network for the mentoring and the support it provides to local businesses, particularly as we emerge from the pandemic.
