Bonnet Bay NBN

The community of Bonnet Bay has been experiencing issues with their NBN connections. This has had an impact on residents and local businesses. I attended a community meeting in Bonnet Bay to listen to the residents of Bonnet Bay and understand how the NBN issues have affected them.

With HSC students trying to study for their HSC, people working from home, and small businesses within Bonnet Bay, it is so important that the people of Bonnet Bay, and the whole of Hughes, have a working NBN connection.

In response to my communications, the Federal Minister for Communications has noted that the network issue was the result of an extended network outage that has now been resolved. However, the concerns of Bonnet Bay residents have not been properly addressed.

I encourage all affected members of the Bonnet Bay community to reach out to my office to share their concerns. My office will continue contacting NBN for any individual who experiences network troubles.
