Help fund equipment at Como West Public School!

Como West Before and After School Care operates out of Como West Public School and its facilities are not fit for purpose. Currently, this includes a sand put that is not WHS compliant and unsafe play equipment.

That is why I am fighting for new fixed equipment and upgrades at Como West Public School, including:

• A large WHS compliant sandpit cover with new sand;

• New fixed equipment;

• A storage shed for sporting equipment;

• Maintenance of the Como West Before and After School Care timber deck, including outdoor blinds;

• 2x Como West Before and After School Care full size toilets;

• Fixes to the Como West Before and After School Care emergency fire door and path leading from the building to meet Australian Building codes; and

• An outdoor cleaning area.

These upgrades will allow for the students of the school to benefit from upgraded play equipment, have better use of the Before and After School Care service including a fully usable waterproof deck, better storage for sporting equipment, an outdoor cleaning area for craft activities, messy play and science experiments, a safe emergency exit and better sized toilets.

With enough community support, we will be able to show the Albanese Labor Government that this is a much-needed project.
